Welcome to our Eco Schools page!

We now have a new Eco-Council!  Class elections took place in Term 1 in P4, P5, P6 and P7 and the new Eco Councillors are: Oscar Spence P4, Jessica Pulman P4, Aimee Mc Kinnon P5, Eva Wimberley P5, Niamh Mc Goldrick P6, Zara Mc Guile P6, Ellie Mc Bride P7 and Charlie Brown P7.  Well done everyone!  Mrs Adams and Daniel are also part of the Eco Council and we are all looking forward to planning and contributing to our Eco School projects.

We have reviewed our Eco Code from Term 3 last year and feel that it is still relevant to our school.  We are in the process of carrying out an Environmental Review and putting together our Action Plan and these will be available to view very soon.

There will be lots of activities to plan and organise this year and we are really looking forward it :) We will keep you updated as they happen so watch this space!

P5 Hedge Planting

Our P5 pupils, along with the P5 pupils from St Patrick's and St Brigid's PS, planted some hedging along the Tow River Path.  This was part of our Shared Education Programme and has also contributed to our John Muir Award.  We planted the hedging with Rachel Bains from The Causeway Coast and Glens.
